TV Mounting & Setup · Cincinnati’s West Side
Your television should be securely mounted, positioned for the way you use the room, connected to the equipment you rely on, and working before I leave.
Veteran-owned · Direct communication · Select installations carefully reviewed
More than putting a TV on the wall
Before drilling, we discuss the normal seating position, room layout, furniture, glare, nearby outlets and connected equipment. You approve the final location after any practical or safety concerns are explained.
A carefully screened service
Every TV, mount and wall is different. Compatibility, wall construction, mounting height and lifting requirements are reviewed before the installation is accepted.
A suitable existing receptacle is required. New or relocated outlets are not included in the standard TV-mounting service and can only be considered as separate work.
What installation can include
The goal is not merely a television attached to the wall. It is a secure, useful setup that fits the room and feels complete when I leave.
Review the TV, mount, wall, outlets, room layout, proposed height and normal seating position before drilling.
Install the compatible mount, secure the television and organize visible cables or add an approved surface raceway.
Connect familiar equipment, confirm picture and sound, test remotes and inputs, and explain the finished setup.
Equipment connection
Familiar equipment can be connected and tested as part of the agreed project scope.
Initial setup, network connection, basic settings and available software updates.
Connection, input selection and basic picture and sound verification.
HDMI connection, correct input selection and confirmation that the system displays properly.
Connection to the television and basic playback, picture and sound testing.
Connection of familiar antenna or coaxial equipment within the existing setup.
Connection by HDMI ARC/eARC, optical cable or Bluetooth, followed by basic testing.
Cable management without unsafe shortcuts
“Cable management” should never hide what the installation actually includes.
The right approach depends on the outlet, connected equipment, wall construction and the appearance you want. The available option is agreed upon before the work begins.

The Covedale Craftsman standard
The installation is complete when the television is secure, the connected equipment responds, the cables are organized and you feel comfortable using the setup.
Meet Christopher
I built The Covedale Craftsman around calm communication, careful work and complete final testing.
I served for 13 years in the Ohio Army National Guard as an aircraft electrician and avionics technician working on Black Hawk helicopters. That background shaped how I approach every accepted project: understand the setup, pay attention to the details, explain concerns clearly and verify the finished result.
TV-mounting projects are reviewed before scheduling because the honest answer matters more than forcing a job that is not a safe fit.
What homeowners say about working with Christopher

Visible cable organization and paintable surface raceway are available. In-wall low-voltage routing is not part of every installation and requires evaluation. Ordinary TV power cords and extension cords are never concealed inside walls.
